SURRENDER ALL TO JESUS

FROM DESK OF PASTOR SOLOMON NGANGA

SURRENDER ALL TO JESUS

Nothing excites and pumps me so much but to share the Life changing WORD of GOD and message to many around the nations of the World The Bible says, " Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the Lord is near in the valley of decision" Joel 3:14 NKJV

I am going to lay an outline of the path God uses to build the Body of Christ and has been practical in my life.I believe by sharing what God can do, will bring light to many despairing hearts that are seeking hope in their situations. It should also energize the Body of Christ powerfully because the sole purpose of preaching the Gospel is to be witnesses unto Jesus to the multitudes and multitudes that are in the Valley of Decision.

What do you think? I will try to expound more on this outline on future blogs and you are welcome to contribute on this topic. I will note that there is no expert in a blueprint for living for Jesus and I know there is more than the few points I have listed but these points are among the basics of a life fully surrendered to Jesus.

1. Surrendering your Life to Jesus- Rom 10:10 NKJV " For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

2. Desiring and be filled with the Holy Spirit. Soon I believed and confessed unto salvation, my heart yearned and was so thirst to be filled with the Holy
Spirit. Acts 1:8 " But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you....."

3. Be thirst and hungry for God. Ps 42:1 " as the deer pants for the water brooks so my soul pants for you, o God" This includes

(i) Diligently studying the Word of God "STUDY TO SHEW THYSELF APPROVED UNTO GOD, A WORKMAN THAT NEEDETH NOT TO BE ASHAMED, RIGHTLY DIVIDING THE WORD OF TRUTH." 2 TIMOTHY 2:15

(ii) Fellowship in the Local Church among the members of the Body of Christ led by their Pastor.

(iii) Find a mentor, a close friend full of the Holy Spirit to guide you through.

(iv) Sticking around Godly company who fear the Lord.

(v) Be diligent to read and study books written by Godly men and women who are full of the Spirit.

4. Strengthen your prayer Life. Rom 8:26 " Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered."

5. Have confidence in the Christ. Heb 10:35 " Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has a great reward."

6. Persevere and endure hardship and trials. James 1:12 " Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who loves him."

7. Have passion in whatever you do. Do it as if you do to the Lord and not unto men. Eccl 9:10 " Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going" Don't be deceived. Soon you go to the grave, you will not
do what you have ever thought to do. I preach like tomorrow is not there!

8. Finally, lay your life for Jesus every day. John 13:38 " Jesus answered him, ' will you lay down your life for my sake?' This include

(i) Sensitivity to the Holy Spirit. Do not grieve the Holy Spirit.

(ii) Remain humble and contrite in your heart.

(iii) Please, I beseech you, overcome the spirit of pride.

(iv) Lay aside every sin that easily beset you. Be Holy.

(v) Acknowledge everyone is important before God. Do not ever despise anybody, no matter how much God elevates or uses you.

(vi) Learn to be obedient to they that are in authority, including your parents, Pastors, employers, and the authorities.

"STUDY TO SHEW THYSELF APPROVED UNTO GOD, A WORKMAN THAT NEEDETH NOT TO BE ASHAMED, RIGHTLY DIVIDING THE WORD OF TRUTH." 2 TIM 2:15

What do you think? Should we continue to strife while many perish in sin?
